Application

PromaCare TGA-Ca is a highly efficient and stable calcium salt of thioglycolic acid, produced through the precise neutralization reaction of thioglycolic acid and calcium hydroxide. Possesses a unique water-soluble crystalline structure.

1. Efficient Depilation
Targets and cleaves disulfide bonds (Disulfide Bonds) in hair keratin, gently dissolving the hair structure to allow its easy shedding from the skin surface. Lower irritation compared to traditional depilatory agents, reduces burning sensation. Leaves skin smooth and fine after depilation. Suitable for stubborn hair on various body parts.
2. Permanent Waving
Precisely breaks disulfide bonds in keratin during the permanent waving process, assisting in hair strand reshaping and restructuring to achieve long-lasting curling/straightening effects. The calcium salt system reduces the risk of scalp irritation and minimizes hair damage post-treatment.
3. Keratin Softening (Additional Value)
Weakens the structure of excessively accumulated keratin protein, effectively softening hard calluses (Calluses) on hands and feet, as well as rough areas on elbows and knees. Enhances the penetration efficiency of subsequent care.
