Application

Sunsafe- TDSA is an organic chemical agent capable of absorbing light throughout the entire UVA spectrum. It is one of the very few comprehensive UVA sun blocks in widespread use. It has an important advantage of being photostable, i.e. it does not degrade and lose effectiveness on exposure to sunlight. This product abosorbs efficien for UVA and best at wavelength of 345nm. In addition, TDSA is chemically stable as hard to decompose and penetrate into skin.This UV-filter is with excellent safety profile. Widely used in various types of sunscreen products.

(1) Totally Water soluble;

(2) Broad UV spectrum,abosorbs excellent in UVA;

(3) Excellent photo stability and hard to decompose;

(4) Safety reliable.

Sunsafe- TDSA appears to be relatively safe because is only minimally absorbed into the skin or systemic circulation. Since Sunsafe- TDSA is stable, toxicity of degradation products is not a concern. Animal and cell culture studies indicate the lack of mutagenic and carcinogenic effects. However, direct safety studies of long-term topical use in humans are lacking. Rarely, Sunsafe- TDSA may cause skin arritation/dermatitis. In its pure form, Sunsafe- TDSA is acidic. In commercial products, it is neutralized by organic bases, such as mono-, di- or triethanolamine. Ethanolamines sometimes cause contact dermatitis. If you develop reaction to a sunscreen with Sunsafe- TDSA, the culprit might be the neutralizing base rather than Sunsafe- TDSA itself. You could try a brand with a different neutralizing base.
