Actitide-3000 is mainly composed of two palmitoyl oligopeptides, palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7. Actitide-3000 shows a perfect effect from gene activation to protein remodeling. In vitro, the two oligopeptides showed a good synergistic effect in promoting the synthesis of type I collagen, fibronectin and hyaluronic acid. Actitide-3000 is a segment of less than or equal to 20 amino acid sequence, which is the hydrolysate of skin matrix before wound healing.

Collagen, elastin, fibronectin and fibrin hydrolyze to produce soluble peptides, which are autocrine and paracrine regulatory messengers and can regulate the expression of wound healing proteins.
