Application

Sunsafe-OCR is an organic oil-soluble UV absorber, which is insoluble in water and helps to dissolve other oil-soluble solid sunscreens. It has the advantages of high absorption rate, non-toxic, non-teratogenic effect, good light and thermal stability, etc. It can absorb UV-B and a small amount of UV-AUsed in combination with other UV-B absorbers to formulate high SPF sunscreen products.

(1) Sunsafe-OCR is an effective oil soluble and liquid UVB absorber offering additional absorption in the short-wave UVA spectrum. Maximum absorption is at 303nm

(2) Suitable for a wide variety of cosmetic applications

(3) Combinations with other UVB absorbers such as Sunsafe-OMC, Isoamylp-methoxycinnamate, Sunsafe-OS, Sunsafe-HMS or Sunsafe-ES are useful when very high Sun Protection Factors are desired

(4) When Sunsafe-OCR is used in combination with the UVA absorbers Sunsafe-ABZ, disodium phenyl dibenzimidazole tetrasulfonate, Menthyl anthranilate or Zinc Oxide broad spectrum protection can be achieved
